A full internal remodelling in Sandal, taken on as a joinery package alongside the conversion of the existing garage into usable living space.
A new oak staircase links the floors, with a straight flight and a slim stainless handrail in one part of the house and an oak and glass balustrade to the landing in another. Every newel, string and handrail was made to suit the openings as we found them.
Throughout the ground floor, oak glazed doors, linings and architrave were fitted to a consistent detail, and a run of bespoke oak bookcases was built into the living space. Wide-board oak flooring ties the remodelled rooms and the converted garage together as one space.
